If there is one thing that iOS players clamor for more than anything, it’s more games in the App Store that embrace the timeless, in-your-face neon aesthetics of the 80s. Alright, this might not be an entirely accurate statement, but once players lay their eyes on Radballs – its design style wouldn’t look out of place on a Trapper Keeper – they will have to admit that this is something that they don’t see often in the App Store.
There are several different types of power-ups such as bombs, lighting, and ice blocks that randomly drop to help the player clear each level. These power-ups are activated by touching and holding them, and the powers are controlled by unique touch gestures.

4Towers Onslaught, like its predecessor 
The neon art style of 4Towers is not new to the tower defense genre but it is successfully executed. The gameplay is smooth and the abstract-yet-organic design of the enemies is very cool. There are subtle design cues built into the game that make it easy to identify the different tower and enemy types and the interface works smoothly without many hitches in the heat of battle. It is easy to read the situation and react to it accordingly making the game fun to play and saving the player from confusion and frustration. There are lots of tower defense games out there and not all of them are great. 4Towers Onslaught is certainly one of the more enjoyable tower defense titles out there and it merits a looks from players looking for a new game in the genre to enjoy.

The star of the Sonic 20th Anniversary app is the brand new game, Sonic the Sketchhog. This is an endless runner game, where players control Sonic trying to collect rings and hop on top of Dr. Robotnik’s assorted minions. When players don’t hit an enemy, they lose their rings, and if they’re hit without any rings, then it’s game over, just like traditional Sonic games. As can be inferred from the title, all the graphics in the game are rough sketches rather than anything hyper-detailed, though Game Center support for high scores is present. Don’t be surprised if this lays the groundwork for a future full-featured Sonic endless runner game, if only because the idea makes so much sense.

Dolphin Browser may seem like “just another” web browser for the iPhone, but it comes with an interesting hook. Users can program drawn gestures for bookmarks and actions, allowing them to jump from favorite site to favorite site and more. In some cases it seems a bit unnecessary, but it definitely has its uses. It doesn’t hurt that it’s also a pretty comprehensive web browser on its own.
