Bloomberg: Lightsquared to use AT&T network for LTE |
Anonymous sources for Bloomberg have told them LightSquared is looking to use AT&T's forthcoming LTE network in areas where it doesn't have coverage or capacity. The sources said the negotiations were note final, and the deal is far from solidified. Currently, LightSquared is planning a nationwide LTE network in the L-band, planned for a H1 2012 launch. AT&T announced last week they'll have their LTE network in available in five markets by the end of the summer. Neither company commented on the report.
