Mobile game on a film for children. You play for the boy, whose parents have divorced because of disagreements on home affairs. In this mobile platform game, you also operate the boy and the orangutan. On the game we collect bonuses and we pass levels. Game is full of fun and entertainments in any seat from the beginning up to the end.

I grew up in the Netherlands and now living in South Africa. It is far away from the rest of the world but thank the Lord for the internet! As an amateur Photographer I was drawn to what the "Emo Boys" and especially the (now defunct) Fallout boys blog do on the internet and made me want to share some of my visions of Trends and pictures. Now I have so many other pictures of pretty boys and young models that I started a second and third blog site! (Not too sure if that was a wise move...) Not claiming any copyright or vision, I just want to share with the world as we know it some of the borrowed pictures and statements that made a small or big impact on myself.

I entered this Songfight back in August, but didn't post about it because it was a late night mix session that I decided I wasn't entirely happy about the next day. Finally took a look at it again and decided it didn't need all all that much tweaking. So, this is the "official" release.
9/11 was an inside job!
It wasn't terrorists it wasn't the mob
Because the government has secrets it wants to keep
They turned the towers to a smoldering heap
I've read the memos, I've heard all of the tapes
I've watched the vids of people trying to escape
And it disgusts me that they blamed it on Iraq
When it's so clear that the attackers were the attacked
9/11 was an inside job!
I've got the evidence, I swear to god
Even though it happened eight years ago
I've found some things we didn't know we didn't know
These politicians with their bald-faced lies
I'd like to hang them by their power ties
This cover up another jewel in the crown
I'm bringing down the men that brought the buildings down
I'm gonna blow it open, gonna blow it all up!
I'm gonna blow it open, gonna blow it all up!
I'm gonna blow it open, gonna blow it all up!
I'm gonna uncover the cover up!
Don't call me nuts don't tell me I'm a freak
Just cuz I tune in Alex Jones each week
Don't speak about my gullibility
I've got the freedom to believe what I want to believe

PaceDJ Review

Our Rating: ★★★½☆ :: MOTIVATIONAL MUSIC
iPhone App - Designed for the iPhone, compatible with the iPad

This little utility helps users build workout playlists that will keep their workouts in high gear.

Developer: Pacing Technologies, LLC

Price: $0.99
Version Reviewed: 1.3
Device Reviewed On: iPhone 3GS

iPhone Integration Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
User Interface Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Re-use Value Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Most people who have tried working out while listening to music from their iOS devices know how annoying it is to be rocking out at the the peak of a workout only to have their playlist shuffle to a slow jam, totally killing their momentum. Building some custom workout playlists is one simple way around this problem, but combing through thousands of tracks to find the best tracks for a specific workout can be a tedious task. This is where PaceDJ can help.

PaceDJ will automatically analyze the iTunes library of a user’s device and organize that library’s songs into workout specific playlists according to their BPM (beats per minute). Running, walking, and cycling paces are already set with specific BPM values in the app, and users can adjust the BPM settings in the app to fit their individual needs. It will take the app a few minutes to analyze the complete iTunes library depending on how many songs are currently loaded on the device. Once the songs are analyzed, the user can set the BPM value, or choose from the preset workout values and start a playlist that will only include songs within the set
BPM range (which seems to be within 5-10 BPMs of the set value). This is a multi-tasking app so it can also be used at the same time as other health and workout apps.

While the app works great and seems to tag each song’s BPM accurately, the app will certainly work better when it has a large music library to pull from. The BPM ranges it uses to compile the playlists can be a bit restrictive and with a small library there might only be four or five songs that fit into a particular BPM range. A modest library of songs won’t give PaceDJ much to work with, but a larger library should give it enough to build a decent workout playlist.

PaceDJ basically works as an easy way to organize a devices music library by the speed of it’s songs and access the songs in that way. This will create playlists that never loose momentum. Be aware however, that if the app doesn’t have much music to pull from, its playlists may be much shorter than the average workout.

My love of movie trivia has been well documented before. Indeed Scene It? Movies 2 and MovieCat! still hold very important places on both my iPhone and iPad. So the prospect of daily and up to the minute trivia quizzes is pretty thrilling indeed.

That’s exactly what Scene It? Daily sets out to do. It’s a new trivia app that offers quizzes across four different categories: Movies, TV, Music and Celebrity, and promises to keep everything as up to date as possible. Right down to possibly asking questions about something that might have happened the night before!

Players from across the world can compete head to head for bragging rights and players who answer enough questions in a row gain a streak multiplier that boosts scores even further. There’s even three different power-ups to use.

Scene It? Daily is available on Facebook and on its own site but of course there’s an iPhone app for it which is out now for the grand price of nothing.

An App for Bikers: Track Journeys and Repairs with GoodRide(SM)

To a ‘biker,’ a motorcycle is far more than just a form of transportation, it’s a tool for fun and enjoyment as much as it is for getting from A to B. It’s likely, then, that bikers who happen to also own an iPhone may wish to keep track of all kinds of details about their motorcycles right on their device. So here’s GoodRide(SM), a free app that promises to do just that — and it’s been released by an insurance company, of all people.

With it’s latest version, US insurance providers Allstate have made GoodRide(SM) a very neat little tool to behold, whether you’re a customer of their insurance policies or not. There’s a bunch of features included within, helping the user’s bike journeys go off without a hitch. It allows for planning of a journey before setting off, will help with finding the nearest gas station along the way and also assists with being as safe ass possible by way of a pre-ride checklist — reminding the rider to check their brakes, lights, tires and such before actually jumping on a riding off into the sunset.

That’s just the start, though, as upon finishing a journey there’s the option to check how many miles we ridden, how long it took to get there and it’s even possible to attach a photo and share the journey with friends and family by way of Facebook or Twitter. Version 1.1 also brings a maintenence log into the app, allowing one to remember exactly when the bike was last serviced or the oil was last topped up. And finally, should the worst happen and the bike breaks down mid-trip a simple press of the button will put a phone call straight through to their Good Hands roadside assitance department to send out one of their service trucks, specially equipped to deal with motorcycles.

Swords and Soldiers Review

Our Rating: ★★★★☆ :: CHARGE!
iPhone App - Designed for the iPhone, compatible with the iPad

Swords and Soldiers is a casual-friendly real-time strategy game, ported to iOS by Chillingo and Two Tribes.

Developer: Chillingo
Price: $0.99

Game Controls Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Gameplay Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Swords and Soldiers is strategy simplified. The basic goals are the same as other real-time strategy games; attain resources and use them to build troops that are used to defend the base and attack the enemy. The difference is that the game is largely two-dimensional; all the units travel on a straight line except for when maps contain forking paths, but all the units maintain the same goal: travel right and accomplish their goal, whether it be to collect gold or attack the enemy. Players can also use spells with mana that accumulates to either attack the enemy directly, slow their troops down, heal the player’s own troops, or increase their power.

See, while the game is simple, this is part of its brilliance – there is very little management of actual units involved. It’s possible to cast spells on them for healing and enraging to deal more damage, but ultimately, they just travel forward and do their thing until they stop or reach the end of the map. The player’s ultimate goal is just to make sure they have enough money and mana to summon the units and spells they want to play. This is what makes Swords and Soldiers so appealing – it’s strategic without being complex. It is very easy to get into, and the lack of specific control is actually a positive – not having this option means that players know how the units will always act, without any question. The game also offers access to its later campaigns instantly, only asking the user to confirm that they are sure that they want to play later campaigns. There are also high score challenges included for users who want something to pick up and try to attain a high score at.

Sword and Soliders would be perfect for some kind of multiplayer mode, preferably with online play. The gameplay is set up perfectly for head-to-head competition, and the lack of such a mode is disappointing, especially since the game is presented in terms of “Single Player” – this implies that a multiplayer mode should come at some point, no? The lack of advanced unit controls does come in to play at some points, as it seems like if units could be stopped, then powerful enemy units not in view wouldn’t decimate the constantly-advancing units. I understand the tradeoff; the advanced unit movement controls occasionally made the similarly-playing Legendary Wars too complex, but the core gamer in me still wants that control.

Sword and Soldiers is a great example of what a casual strategy game can do. It’s deep enough for core gamers to enjoy, yet is simple enough that casual gamers can get in to it, while appreciating its deeper elements. While the tradeoffs made for simplicity can be frustrating at times, and a multiplayer mode would be welcomed, Sword and Soldiers is a fine game, even for those who aren’t typically part of the strategy game’s audience.

Hothead Gets Rough With Kard Combat

Thank you for using rssforward.com! This service has been made possible by all our customers. Lots of genres are a bit over-saturated on the App Store, and card games are no exception. Combination card and fighting games, however, are few and far between. Aware of this deficiency, Hothead Games has seen fit to release Kard Combat this week. For the low low price of nothing.

Granted it’s still more of a card game than a fighter; players choose from a handful of different mages with a few unique cards in their collection, matches involve planning and strategy as opposed to quick reflexes and so on. The fighting aspects have more to do with the brevity of each match and their one-on-one nature. It utilizes a slightly less complex version of the “line of cards” system some are no doubt familiar with, in which each user lines up their cards while any unopposed summons will do direct damage to the opposing player. Naturally, some cards have special effects that can create some interesting strategies.

Players can try out each of the four types of mages (Holy, Death, Machine and Dominator), as well as the Single Duel and multiplayer modes, for free. Full access to a single mage’s campaign will require an in-app purchase of one dollar, while unlocking all four will cost three. And for any players interested in diving straight in to the multiplayer stuff, everything (all cards, etc…) can be unlocked for ten dollars. Bear in mind that the cards can eventually be unlocked through diligent play, and that the ten dollar purchase is only necessary for those who don’t want to “waste time” with the singleplayer campaign.

Favorite Four: News Apps

One of the great things about iOS devices is that they bring both traditional and newer online news outlets to users in almost as many formats and GUIs as there are news sources. And, like the best digital sources, the best apps are free. From world news to national politics to sports and entertainment and anything in between, there are likely a dozen apps for that. Picking only four isn’t easy, but while our home page has two folders full of news apps, there are really only a few we use daily. So this week we are going to look at our favorite four news apps for iPad and iPhone.

Pulse:

Pulse earns its spot here because it serves up customized news from myriad sources, in a clean, user-friendly app. Users can pick from a vast selection of preset news feeds on topics like world news and politics, but also sports, tech, entertainment and even fashion from the biggest websites around. They just added summer sources including cooking and crafts, too. Pulse allows allows users to add their Twitter, Facebook and other social network feeds and it functions as a Google Reader. Headlines and photos appear in rows, and a clean browser offering text or web views sits to the right. Users can easily scroll through up to five pages of headlines and dig into only those stories that are of interest. This is an all-in-one news app, and a must have for news nuts.

Zite Personalized Magazine:

Zite is the only entry this week that is iPad-only, but it serves up the news in such a fresh and comfortable fashion it belongs on any news app list. The app does what it claims to: it creates a personalized magazine divided into clean, easy-to-navigate sections that make getting today’s headlines feel more, well, personal. The GUI is gorgeous, and this app too will pull your Twitter feed and Google Reader news, while offering a large number of preset news topics. News hounds can pick as many as they like across a comparable array of topics as Pulse.

What makes Zite a standout, however, aside from its glossy magazine feel, is that it is truly customizable and it gets to know individual user preferences while introducing a seemingly endless number of new web sources – it’s like a news discovery app as well as a customizable news aggregator. Using what they call a “smart auto-suggest tool,” readers can “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” an article, opt for more from the same source, and can even pick which of the sub-topics discussed within an article they would like to see more of in the future. Within a week of use, Zite creates not just a good looking, but a wholly relevant magazine, one that’s updated several times a day, not a month.

Reuters:

If simplicity and news from a single reputable source that uses iOS to maximum advantage is the preferred means of getting a news fix, Reuters – one of the most reliable syndicated new sources around – has the go-to brand name app. Reuters News Pro covers a broad cross-section of interests including an excellent market watch section, as well as award-winning photojournalism with the ability to customize the app to a user’s location. Reuters does not just serve up text news – the app has video coverage of top stories as well. Reuters News Pro also includes their popular “Oddly Enough” weird-news feature, and everything can be read on or offline with no user setup required.

Breaking News !:

No list would be complete without a news app the uses push notifications. We want our news in-depth, but when something major happens, we like being notified instantly. Several news apps offer this feature, but none of the biggest names do particularly good jobs with the GUI, and most are single-source apps. Breaking News delivers headlines from CNN, BBC, WSJ, and MSNBC in realtime to your iPhone. It would benefit from the AP or Reuters feed, but it’s a solid choice for both coverage and push-notification reliability.
